Spyware alone is a problem. It slows down you computer and can cause it to freeze up. It installs unwanted programs on your PC and will send your personal information back to companies for them to make a profit off of. It can also make your computer more vulnerable to viruses. Spyware alone is enough reason to get your computer serviced. But sometimes symptoms that look like spyware can really be something much more dangerous, a virus.
Viruses are programs that open on their own in the background of your computer without your knowledge or consent. A virus has the potential to wipe out your hard drive, or destroy your computers motherboard by wiping out it's BIOS. If you think you have a virus, don't wait around, because the longer it's there the more damage it can do.

When it comes to something like your hard drive, it's not a matter of if it will crash, it's a matter of when. Hard disks only have a limited life span, and usually their the first thing to go bad on a computer, sometimes long before anything else. But when your hard drive goes that doesn't always mean your information is gone. In most cases I can get the data you want from a corrupt drive, such as business files, music, or family pictures.
If your computer is past it's warranty date, the manufacturers will usually try to overcharge you for replacement parts like hard drives, CD or DVD drives, or system components like memory or the motherboard. I search all of the hardware retailers for you to make sure you get the best deal on your replacement parts.
